About the position

Responsibilities

  • Own the configuration, enhancement, and testing of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), with a focus on platform stability and standard processes.
  • Partner with HR team members (via ServiceNow Product Owner or HR Partners) to clarify technical requirements and implement scalable, supportable solutions.
  • Evaluate new ServiceNow releases and features, and prototype configurations that align with HRSD roadmap and enterprise standards.
  • Independently handle assigned deliverables, configuration timelines, and testing cycles to meet project deadlines.
  • Solve, maintain, and enhance HRSD modules including Case Management, Knowledge, Employee Center, and Lifecycle Events, using functionality such as Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Access Controls to ensure platform stability and functionality.
  • Translate HR functional needs into technical requirements by identifying the proper use of platform functionality to ensure configurations align with business intent and system standard processes.
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow platform team to ensure HRSD configurations follow platform architecture standards, leverage shared functionality, and align with enterprise strategy.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning for HRSD initiatives by providing technical input, estimating effort, and ensuring stories are well-defined for development.
  • Participate in bi-annual ServiceNow upgrades by validating HRSD functionality, regression testing customizations, and resolving defects in coordination with platform and QA teams.
  • Complete and document UAT scenarios for HRSD changes, ensuring test coverage, capturing defects, and validating functionality aligns with business requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on configuration experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), including Case Management, Knowledge, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Center.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining platform components such as Flows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, Notifications, Access Controls (ACLs), and HR Scoped App components.
  • Experience building and supporting Virtual Agent conversations, Lifecycle Event conditions, task assignment logic, and advanced Journey configurations.
  • Demonstrated testing discipline, including impact analysis, regression testing, defect documentation, and upgrade readiness.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and how they translate into scalable and supportable HRSD platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, update set management, and coordination with platform team for shared components and enterprise alignment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD will be considered.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; CIS-HR Certification strongly preferred.
