This role contributes directly to minimizing downtime and maintaining a safe working environment.<br><br><strong>Performance Area<br><br></strong><strong>Objectives<br><br></strong><strong>Actions<br><br></strong><strong>Preventative Maintenance<br><br></strong>● Ensure all equipment receives timely preventative maintenance according to schedule.<br><br>● Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying potential issues.<br><br>● Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes.<br><br>● Accurately document all preventative maintenance activities and report any deviations or concerns to the Engineering Manager<br><br>● Assist Engineering Manager with more complex preventative maintenance procedures<br><br><strong>Reactive Maintenance Support<br><br></strong>● Minimize equipment downtime by providing efficient and effective support during breakdowns and repairs<br><br>● Assist Engineering Manager in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.<br><br>● Fetch necessary tools, parts, and materials for repair work.<br><br>● Perform basic repair tasks under supervision, such as replacing belts, hoses, or minor components.<br><br>● Ensure work areas are clean and safe after completing repairs.<br><br>● Report completed repairs and any unresolved issues to the Engineering Manager.<br><br><strong>Facility Maintenance:<br><br></strong>● Maintain a safe, clean, and functional facility environment.<br><br>● Perform general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing repairs, painting, and minor building upkeep.<br><br>● Ensure all walkways and work areas are free from obstructions and hazards.<br><br>● Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment or workspaces as needed.<br><br>● Report any facility-related maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Engineering Manager.<br><br><strong>Inventory and Parts Management <br><br></strong>● Assist in maintaining an organized and sufficient inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.<br><br>● Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing maintenance parts and supplies<br><br>● Conduct periodic inventory checks as directed.<br><br>● Notify the Engineering Manager of low stock levels.<br><br>● Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stored items.<br><br><strong>Safety and Compliance<br><br></strong>● Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment<br><br>● Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.<br><br>● Identify and report any unsafe conditions or practices immediately.<br><br>● Participate in safety training sessions as required.<br><br>● Assist in maintaining safety equipment and ensuring its proper functionality.<br><br><strong>Please note if you do not hear from us within 3 weeks, do consider your application unsuccessful.<br><br><br><br></strong>
