Read on…<br /> <br /> THE ROLE<br /> The Site Production Manager leads the planning, execution, and oversight of all site production elements for festivals, including infrastructure, budgeting, vendor coordination, and team leadership. This role ensures operational efficiency by collaborating with internal departments, managing timelines, and maintaining high safety and production standards. Additionally, the manager develops vendor and venue relationships, oversees site budgets, and supports hiring, training, and cross-functional problem-solving throughout the event lifecycle. This is note a remote position and is on site at events for long durations of time.<br /> RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> • Spearhead and be responsible for the execution of all aspects of site production for any given event. This includes but not limited to the managing, planning, budgeting of festival infrastructural elements such as fence, power, tenting, heavy equipment, cleaning, sanitation, fueling, site prep/restoration, etc.<br /> • Mentor and lead the Insomniac site operations team; contribute to the overall development of and act as primary resource for the site operations team.<br /> • Organize the daily development efforts of site production projects for festivals, lead team meetings, manage planning efforts and ensure delivery against project timelines.<br /> • Partner with Festival Producer and CAD designer to create efficient site plans that aim to create operational efficiencies while following fire and safety regulations.<br /> • Manage and liaise with all stakeholders for the festival build and communicate / advise changes in a timely fashion; Execute the build to Insomniac's festival standards.<br /> • Partner with Site Production Project Manager to advance and collect all site production needs with vendors based on the needs of the festival.<br /> • Work with Site Production Project Manager in streamlining processes such as festival site advancing, creating vendor orders, obtaining vendor quotes and negotiate rates to effectively plan projects.<br /> • Direct site production team and site production vendors through all aspects of the build and strike.<br /> • Provide as a resource to teams for all aspects of site production and collaborate cross-departmentally, such as but not limited to maintaining various production schedules, advising on ways to more efficiently use site assets, communicating with departments and advise on necessary/unnecessary requests based on each festival site.<br /> • Provide flexible and on the spot problem resolution for unforeseeable issues and help departments with relevantneeds.<br /> • Create, develop and maintain site vendor relationships.<br /> • Partner with Festival Producer to create, develop and maintain venue relationships.<br /> • Understand cost of materials / supplies and consequences of damage & loss with festival gear / rentals<br /> • Oversee the site production budget for festivals, and work in partnership with production finance to ensure festival site production forecasts are up to date, and reconcile invoices post-show in a timely manner.<br /> • Work with Site Production Project Manager to recruit, hire and train team members.<br /> QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • 5+ years of experience in music festival production<br /> • Advanced technical knowledge of festival production, with an emphasis on site production elements<br /> • Ability to solve logistical and technical problems<br /> • Ability to effectively supervise and manage groups of staff<br /> • Ability to create and maintain large scale event budgets<br /> • Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Google Docs / Sheets, Airtable, Asana, Adobe PDF Editor, Dropbox<br /> • Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred<br /> • Extensive resolution management experience<br /> • Must be motivated with an ''Everything is possible'' attitude<br /> • Have great written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail<br /> • Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small<br /> • Heavy Equipment (Fork Lift / Aerial Lift) certification<br /> • Must be able to travel (economy) for work for long periods of time (i.e. several weeks at a time)<br /> • Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac's brands<br /> WORK ENVIRONMENT<br /> • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments<br /> • Must be able to move, lift, and/or carry items up to 50lbs.<br /> • May work in drastic temperature climates ranging from extreme cold to hot<br /> • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines<br /> Applicants for employment in the US must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for avisa.<br /> EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY<br /> We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
