Social Media Content Creator & Specialist

Rocket55 is a full-service digital marketing agency that has been in the industry for over 16 years. They are seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media Content Creator & Specialist to produce engaging video content and manage social media strategies for various clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit social-first video and visual content optimized for each platform
  • Shoot social video content with a smartphone (iPhone), including b-roll, behind-the-scenes footage, talking heads, and creative content for Reels and TikToks
  • Edit content for social platforms using tools such as Canva, Veed.io, CapCut, or similar. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus but not required
  • Attend and support on-site content shoots for clients (setup, filming, capturing b-roll, creative execution)
  • Produce content that aligns with brand guidelines while staying flexible to trends and platform best practices
  • Willingness to appear on camera when needed
  • Own and manage content calendars across multiple client accounts, including campaign planning and post coordination
  • Schedule and manage content across multiple social platforms, ensuring a consistent and strategic brand presence
  • Manually post time-sensitive content as required (trends, live moments, event-based content)
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments and DMs, participating in discussions, and fostering a positive environment on behalf of clients
  • Coordinate with influencers and creators as needed for client campaigns
  • Monitor trends, sounds, and cultural moments and bring ideas forward proactively
  • Analyze performance data and provide insights to refine content and improve results

Skills

  • 1–5 years of experience in social media content creation and/or social media management (includes internship experience)
  • Strong video skills, including filming with a smartphone (iPhone) and editing short-form social content
  • Proficiency with video editing tools such as Canva, Veed.io, CapCut, or similar
  • Proficiency with major social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Sharp attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively across multiple brands
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to bring fresh ideas to content and storytelling
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • Previous agency experience or experience managing content for multiple brands simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of short-form video trends and storytelling techniques
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data to drive decisions
  • Basic graphic design experience and familiarity with tools like Canva
