Social Media Manager & Marketing Content Assistant (Part-Time → Growth Opportunity)

Type: Part-Time (Fractional) 1099
Hours: Starting at ~10 hours/week, with growth up to 30 hours/week
Compensation: $25/hour (monthly retainer based on hours)

About the Role

We are hiring a technically strong Social Media Manager & Marketing Content Assistant to help execute and distribute content across multiple platforms. This role focuses on repurposing existing content — especially podcast appearances — into consistent marketing and sales assets.

This is not an entry-level social media role. We’re looking for someone sharp, organized, fast-moving, and comfortable working in a high-energy, sales-driven environment.

Most content will already be created. Your responsibility is to edit, publish, repurpose, and manage distribution while maintaining consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Content Repurposing & Publishing

  • Repurpose podcast content into:

    • Short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)

    • Quote graphics and captions

    • Long-form social posts

  • Edit and format video clips for platform optimization

  • Schedule and publish content across:

    • Instagram

    • LinkedIn

    • Facebook

    • TikTok

    • X (Twitter)

    • YouTube (full episodes and clips)

  • Maintain posting schedules and content calendars

  • Upload content to websites and landing pages as needed

  • Repost and redistribute content strategically

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Create presentations and pitch decks

  • Develop marketing materials and sales assets

  • Turn podcast content into tools for:

    • Sales follow-ups

    • Lead nurturing

    • Authority positioning

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership

Email & Newsletter Management

  • Create and manage newsletters

  • Repurpose podcast content into email campaigns

  • Support audience engagement and list growth

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of major social platforms

  • Experience editing short-form video content

  • Comfortable using AI tools in marketing workflows

  • Highly organized with strong execution skills

  • Able to work quickly and meet deadlines

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attention to detail

Nice to Have
