Sr Compensation Analyst (Onsite in Rosemont Illinois and Remote)

The Sr. Compensation Analyst under limited direction, provides advanced analytical support of US Foods’ compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Responsible for ongoing, day-to-day Compensation-related work and activities. Completes complex compensation analyses to support compensation programs. Participates in pay surveys and analyzes results. Provides guidance and support to HR. Administers key activities in the annual wage increase process for hourly associates, and the annual compensation planning process for non-exempt and exempt associates. Participates in mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, and/or restructure related compensation activities. Responsible for complex project work and all project work as assigned. This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of three onsite days (Tue, Wed, Thur) per week at our Rosemont Illinois office as well as remote two days per week. Responsibilities: + Administers and maintains compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent and fair pay practices across the business and assigned functional areas. + Performs day-to-day compensation activities such as job evaluations, Workday job profile maintenance, and ad-hoc requests, including job family and/or job architecture. + Completes complex analyses to support compensation programs, including, but not limited to, annual pay structure review, merit increase budgeting, and geographic differential analyses to ensure ongoing FLSA and pay transparency compliance. + Participates in various annual and ad-hoc compensation surveys. Ensures appropriate compensation survey data sources/vendor utilization to meet current/future business needs. + Participates in mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, and/or restructure related compensation activities including compensation mapping pay analyses and recommendations. + Administers key activities in annual wage increase process for hourly associates in warehouse, transportation, and production departments, including process coordination, Workday set-up and testing, HR training, submission auditing, and associate communications. + Administers key activities in annual compensation planning process administration of the merit and/or incentive plans, including ongoing data audits, process coordination, Workday set-up and testing, HR training, submission auditing, and associate communications. + Provides advice, ad hoc analysis, guidance, and support to HR on compensation-related issues, inquiries, and/or requests. + Provides education and training to HR on compensation practices and policies. + Prepares and presents reports/presentations to HR and other key stakeholders for various processes and initiatives. + Monitors market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may affect compensation practices and provides recommendations, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). + Performs various short- and long-term project work. + Other duties as assigned by manager.
