About the role Our client is a US-based intelligence platform that delivers AI-powered solutions to streamline access to quality care. They achieve this by improving healthcare economics, payer-provider collaboration, and arenaflex containment. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our client's engineers to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions. The successful candidate will implement and manage tools supporting engineering teams and infrastructure, and coach junior engineers on DevOp best practices and tools. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring our client maintains a disciplined approach to healthcare security. The candidate should have proven experience across a range of DevOps capabilities such as log aggregation, arenaflex/CD, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, management, and automation technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, and Puppet. A successful candidate is one who is passionate about building quality products, has strong technical skills in areas of Linux system administration, networking, and application deployment/maintenance, and is experienced with at least one scripting language and monitoring systems. What You’ll Do - Work closely with our client's engineers to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions - Implement and manage tools supporting our client's engineering teams and infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting, arenaflex/CD, and version control - Automate the compilation, testing, packaging, and release of the client's software platform - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies or services to maximize development efficiency - Actively participate in ensuring our client maintains a disciplined approach to healthcare security What We’re Looking For Must-Have Experience - Must live in Latin America and be able to work US Eastern Time office hours - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) management required - You have managed a highly scalable production infrastructure in a highly regulated environment - You have experience working with security operations within cloud environments. - You possess proven experience across a range of DevOps capabilities such as log aggregation, arenaflex/CD, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes - You have experience developing and managing arenaflex/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions (preferred) or Jenkins. - You have hands-on cloud platform experience with a strong preference for AWS You are passionate about building quality products and want to build the infrastructure that enables our client's rapid, agile, and reliable software development - You are a team player and are interested in working in a fast-paced startup environment - You are excited by team development and actively seek opportunities to mentor and develop talent - Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, management and automation technologies (Terraform, Cloudformation, Chef, Puppet, etc) is preferred - Experience with at least one scripting language (shell, Ruby, Python, Perl, Go, etc.) - Experience with monitoring systems Nice-to-haves - Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences Our recruitment process • Recruiter interview (30 min) • Technical Interview (45 min) • Screening interview with the client's hiring manager • Client technical interview • One follow-up technical interview We strive to move efficiently from step to step so that the recruitment process can be as fast as possible.
