The Senior Digital Product Manager oversees ServiceNow and Clarity product development and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business architecture and long-term organizational objectives. This role requires deep expertise in business processes and data, ownership of the product roadmap, and advanced capacity management skills. The Senior Digital Product Manager leads backlog prioritization, manages complex changes, and makes key decisions regarding product features while crafting detailed user stories. They drive measurable outcomes by linking product value to KPIs and ensuring compliance with rate case and regulatory requirements. As a trusted business partner, they cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to guide product direction and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategy and roadmap across a product family, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes aligned with roadmap commitments.
  • Facilitate visibility into capacity and demand to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
  • Ensure team alignment with strategy, budget, and financial guidelines.
  • Create transparency and alignment on the product roadmap within the product family.
  • Ensure teams within their span of control consistently produce metrics and leverage them for continuous improvement.
  • Drive prioritization based on business impact, customer value, and required effort.
  • Lead discovery and research initiatives to deeply understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Measure product performance using data analysis and customer feedback to drive iterative improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional experts to identify, evaluate, and make informed trade-off decisions.
  • Develop business cases and justifications to support product backlog funding requests.
  • Identify key uncertainties and determine methods to reduce them, including data gathering and experimentation.
  • Assess opportunity spaces to determine potential value and return on investment (ROI).
  • Mentor product managers within and across the product family and contribute to the advancement of product management best practices and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Four (4) or more years of experience working on a ServiceNow and/or Clarity platform team.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of key ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Software and Hardware Asset Management, Event Management, Certificate Management, Vulnerability Response, Human Resources Service Delivery, and Unified Portal.
