<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Position Overview:<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Sr Lease Abstraction Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for performing detailed lease document abstraction, quality control, and driving process efficiency initiatives within our lease abstraction operations.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong>Experience & Skills<br><br><ul><li> Experience in lease abstraction, lease administration</li><li> Strong understanding of commercial and retail lease structures and terminology</li><li> Proficiency in lease abstraction software and tools</li><li> Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database management</li><li> Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li> Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing<br><br></li></ul>Technical Competencies<br><br><ul><li> Experience with lease accounting standards</li><li> Knowledge of real estate terminology and lease provisions</li><li> Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies</li><li> Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean preferred)<br><br></li></ul>Soft Skills<br><br><ul><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li> Strong organizational and time management abilities</li><li> Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li><li> Leadership qualities with mentoring capabilities</li><li> Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset<br><br></li></ul>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Lease Document Abstraction<br><br><ul><li> Perform comprehensive abstraction of lease documents, extracting key terms, conditions, and critical data points</li><li> Analyze complex lease agreements to identify and capture essential information including rent schedules, lease terms, renewal options, and special provisions</li><li> Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in accordance with established standards and procedures</li><li> Handle high-volume lease processing while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail<br><br></li></ul>Quality Control & Review<br><br><ul><li> Conduct thorough quality control reviews of completed lease abstractions</li><li> Identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in abstracted data</li><li> Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for corrections</li><li> Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with client requirements and internal protocols</li><li> Validate data accuracy against source documents<br><br></li></ul>Process Improvement & Defect Management<br><br><ul><li> Identify areas of defects and inefficiencies in the lease abstraction process</li><li> Analyze root causes of recurring issues and develop corrective action plans</li><li> Drive process efficiency projects to streamline operations and improve productivity</li><li> Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and standardized procedures</li><li> Document process improvements and maintain updated procedural guidelines<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members</li><li> Participate in training programs and knowledge sharing sessions</li><li> Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lease accounting standards and industry best practices</li><li> Support special projects and initiatives as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B.
