We are looking for a Sr. Xarvio Digital Farming Business Development Representative to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Manitoba.

The xarvio Digital Farming Business Development Representative is an integral part of the BASF Digital Farming team. This field position drives the growth of BASF xarvio Digital Farming solutions. The role is focused on growing the footprint of BASF Digital Farming by identifying opportunities and delivering digital solutions in alignment to the digital farming strategy, ultimately responsible for selling and closing deals with identified retail partners. 

As a Sr. Xarvio Digital Farming Business Development Representative, you create chemistry by...

  • Working, selling and closing deals with identified retail partners and following-up on leads coming from the BASF field team.
  • Collaborating closely and in partnership with BASF sales and marketing team while meeting country level sales targets related to xarvio FIELD MANAGER.
  • Proactively working with target customers and growing the awareness by attending key events focused on targeted retailers and growers.
  • Working with customers to gain feedback, compile feedback and aligning with the team to create actions to improve or solve issues.
  • Promoting BASF Digital Farming products by speaking at meetings and events as required or requested. Participating as DF or xarvio representative at BASF tradeshow booths.
  • Leading demonstration, training, and webinars of BASF Digital Farming tools and products as well as the training of BASF employees on BASF Digital Farming Tools.
  • Maintaining expert knowledge of platforms and tools with the ability to act as a representative as part of internal and external projects.

If you have...

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Agriculture Sciences.
  • 8 years of Experience in a Sales Role in the Agriculture Industry using their agronomic expertise to develop and strengthen business relationships.
  • Experience within Digital Agriculture.
  • Experience in agriculture retail considered an asset.
  • Effective Communication skills and experience Training or leading webinars.
  • Knowledge of farming practices and equipment.
  • Robust computer knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office Suites, with a strong inclination towards web-based applications and digital customer engagement tools.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Collaboration within the organization and team.
  • BASF Product Knowledge.
