Read on…<br /> <br /> THE ROLE<br /> Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Stage Producer to join the Stage Production team in Los Angeles. We are seeking a Stage Producer to support the functions of Insomniac's stage production department. This is not a remote position.<br /> RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> • Strategize stage drawings, specifications and other documents concerning assigned projects<br /> • Negotiate various deals and contracts<br /> • Build and evolve production standard operating procedures (SOP) for each festival<br /> • Create, develop and maintain vendor relationships<br /> • Oversee budgets, schedules and overall production plans for projects<br /> • Organize the daily development efforts of the team, leading team meetings, managing planning efforts and ensuring delivery against the project roadmaps<br /> • Partner closely with internal and external business partners to ensure project goals are exceeded<br /> • Construct organized workflows that meet the needs of both projects and the department<br /> • Partner with production, creative and finance in greenlighting and planning projects<br /> • Provide as a resource to teams to develop production project plans<br /> • Discover emerging technology and how to apply it to projects in order to achieve creative goals' and perform various analysis to understand financial implications and cost efficiencies<br /> • Partner and collaborate with show leadership, creatives, producers to evaluate in development, pre-green light and newly green lit concepts for opportunities on execution<br /> • Recruit, train and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams<br /> • Negotiate various deals and contracts<br /> • Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed<br /> • Frequent travel may be required (economy)<br /> QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • 8+ years' experience with event technical production and operations<br /> • Excellent organizational skills<br /> • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure<br /> • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and perform research<br /> • Knowledge of the principles of target marketing<br /> • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint<br /> • General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows<br /> • Knowledge of concert promotion and live event business is a plus<br /> • Some travel may be required<br /> WORK ENVIRONMENT<br /> • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments when on site working events<br /> • May work in drastic temperature climates when traveling to work events<br /> • Must be willing to travel to work during evening, holiday and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines<br /> Applicants for employment in the US must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.<br /> EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY<br /> We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
