The Storeroom Supervisor will work proactively with cross-functional teams to maintain low inventory levels and drive for best price while keeping assured supply of MRO materials. Key initiatives include oversight of the Storeroom process; inventory optimization; and cost reduction. Position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Supervision of department personnel, including task and people scheduling, performance reviews, timecard approval, safe work practices, career development, and department financial management </li><li> Directly or indirectly supervises all personnel engaged in the management of plant storeroom and raw materials inventory. Responsible for shift meeting, SOP adherence, customer service, cycle count accuracy, stock-outs, replenishment, inventory turns, and supplier updates. </li><li> Storeroom replenishment process: order management, expediting/ forcing orders, critical spares, creating blanket orders, spot quotes for shipments (International), order acknowledgements, ensure past due report management – (PO backlog), and negotiations with suppliers on pricing. </li><li> Maintain DOS which align with plant, corporate, and GSM initiatives related to MRO materials. This will include monthly forecasting, reporting, and maintaining the obsolescence program (SLOB) </li><li> Strategic projects and initiatives to support MRO and cost reduction. </li><li> Ensure ISO Document updates (procedures, SWI's, SOW's) <br><br></li></ul><strong>Experiences/Education - Required<br><br></strong><ul><li> 2-3 years of Supply Chain experience desired or 2 years of manufacturing experience </li><li> Ability to manage, coach, and develop employees. </li><li> Sound decision-making and customer service skills </li><li> Data collection and analysis skills (should be comfortable in excel) </li><li> Ability to balance multiple tasks and issues. </li><li> Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills <br><br></li></ul><strong>Experiences/Education - Desired<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree desired. </li><li> Experience in operations </li><li> Detail-oriented </li><li> Knowledge of People Soft or other MRP systems and understanding of inventory management </li><li> Project Management Experience </li><li> Supervision Experience <br><br></li></ul><strong>This position does not support immigration sponsorship. <br><br></strong>The range for this position is $92,719.00 - $127,489.00 assuming full time status.
