Strategic Sales Manager (Enterprise AI, Cloud Tech & Cyber Security)

Talasha has been mandated to hire a Senior Strategic Sales Manager (Enterprise AI, Cloud Tech & Cyber Security) for a deep-tech B2B startup founded in 2019 that specializes in Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs), privacy risk assessment, and responsible AI governance. It helps enterprises, particularly in data-intensive industries, comply with global regulations (like GDPR and India's DPDP Act) while enabling them to use data for analytics and AI training.


Responsibilities -

Enterprise Sales Leadership

Own and drive end-to-end enterprise sales for strategic and marquee accounts, with a focus on large banks, NBFCs, insurers, and regulated enterprises Leverage an existing strong network in Mumbai BFSI and enterprise ecosystem to accelerate pipeline creation and deal closures Lead high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first meeting to commercial closure Achieve individual/ enterprise sales quota, in addition to regional or team-level targets

CXO Engagement & Deal Closure

Engage credibly with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, DPOs, AI & Data Governance leaders Drive executive-level conversations around privacy risk, regulatory exposure, AI governance, and data strategy. Own pricing, commercial structuring, negotiation, and closure of complex enterprise deals

Solution-Oriented Selling

Lead a consultative, solution-selling approach, mapping the products to customer-specific regulatory, technical, and business challenges Work closely with pre-sales, product, and engineering teams to design tailored solutions and value propositions Translate deep-tech capabilities into clear business outcomes for customers

Regional & Team Leadership

Manage and grow regional sales operations, including pipeline governance, forecasting, and execution discipline Build, mentor, and scale high-performing sales teams as the business grows Define territory plans and account strategies

Market Expansion & GTM Influence

Play a key role in expanding the company's footprint across BFSI and other regulated industries Provide market feedback to leadership on pricing, positioning, and competitive landscape Represent the company at industry forums, CXO roundtables, banking events, and ecosystem partnerships


Good to Have -

10–12+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales in cybersecurity, data platforms, privacy, or deep-tech products (data loss prevention product, zero trust network access, strong firewalls, network security) Established CXO-level relationships within BFSIs, banks and large enterprises in Mumbai Experience scaling startups


CTC- Rs. 40-50LPA + Variable (Basis last drawn)
