Supervisor Billing Analyst (Remote) (Federal Contracting Experience Required)

<p></p><p></p>Oversee daily operations as outlined by management. Answer questions and resolve problems related to billing operations as the billing expert. Communicate and coordinate timely communication of identified problems to assure proper follow up is completed to expedite invoicing/claims and ensure proper billing/payment.<ul><li>Supervises Billing Specialists on all billing job functions by providing employee feedback and monitoring daily workflow and results.</li><li>Monitors Billing Queues ensuring scheduled dispenses have been processed accordingly and that queue is kept at the minimum amount required.</li><li>Monitors Q-Finiti calls.</li><li>Performs quality oversight for assigned claims, ensuring proper reimbursement.</li><li>Recognizes and reports to Billing Manager system problems or suspected issues that would result in the interruption of workflow and/or invoice <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">submissions/reimbursements.</span></li><li>Attends meetingd and addresses concerns and achievements within the billing department with management.</li><li>Assists in resolving billing discrepancies with other departmental staff.</li><li>Participates in the interview, selection and hiring of employees as needed.  Provides team orientation and training to new staff on projects, procedures and client requirements.</li><li>Monitors employee attendance and punctuality, addresses with employee via verbal or written warning when allowed occurrences have been exceeded.</li><li>Performs duties of the billing specialists as needed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li><u>For Magellan Federal, duties may also include</u>:</li><li>Monitors Billing workloads, submissions, and reviews to ensure even distribution of work and work accuracy.</li><li>Assists in maintaining billing reconciliation to ensure projects are up to date and revenue is correct.</li><li>Ensures that all audit, and government required regulations are adhered to.</li><li>Ensures that projects are reconciled on a regular schedule to ensure proper revenue recognition.</li><li>Communicates with team members properly and effectively to align with deadlines and applicable changes.</li><li>Prioritizes project deadlines and communicates efficiently with leadership.</li><li>Maintains strong relationships with internal and external parties to resolve any billing related issues that may arise.</li><li>Escalates issues to leadership when appropriate following department workflow.</li><li>Reviews and approves Billing Analysts’ timecards at the end of each timekeeping period addressing discrepancies or concerns as needed.<br> </li></ul> The job duties listed above are representative and not intended to be all-inclusive of what may be expected of an employee assigned to this job.
