The individual selected for this position will be the Action Officer for the GSC Operations Vice President driving integration across Enterprise Operations (EO) as OneLM Supply Chain, Aeronautics GSC and Aeronautics GSC Operations working with the executive leadership team and their staffs. You will be an integral part of the Aeronautics GSC Operations team as a development opportunity by: -- Driving operational excellence in managing the business rhythm, metrics, standard work, continuous improvement and day-to-day operations. -- Having high organization, communication, and leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership, Lines of Business (LOB's), functional organizations and EO. -- Identifying opportunities, constructively navigate complex issues, and influence senior leadership on relevant topics. -- Handling of abstract issues and development of solid plans and communication strategies to effectively respond to internal and external customers. -- Functioning as a member of the GSC Operations staff and is called on to manage projects, assess issues, and assist with developing resolutions. -- Working independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed to meet our objectives. -- Integrating cross-functionally at various levels within the organization to drive GSC objectives across internal and external stakeholders. Aero GSC Basic Qualifications - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is \$95,000 - \$167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
