Telemedicine Coordinator - Bilingual, Spanish/English

Full-time Description Georgia Spine and Orthopaedics is a Comprehensive Spine and orthopedics care provider in GA. Our locations include Atlanta, Columbus, Gwinnett, Dalton, Marietta, Tucker, Stockbridge, Roswell, and the Surgery Center of Roswell. We specialize in offering cutting-edge treatment with a conservative approach. We are currently in search of a Bilingual, Spanish/English, Telemedicine Coordinator to join our Tucker team! The role of the Telemedicine Coordinator is to support physicians and other providers in the telehealth care of patients, as well as support Neuro TM, EEG follow-up, and remote cognitive assessments. General Duties/Responsibilities: • Ensure all appointments have been scheduled appropriately with the correct provider, time, and location. • Maintain an active session on the telemedicine platform during all working hours to facilitate technology issues, ensure that patients connect to providers, and be available for any ‘on-demand’ patients who may enter the portal. • Ensure that all necessary paperwork has been completed before the visit. • Explain the Telemedicine appointment process and services offered via telemedicine. • Assist patients with connecting to and using the company’s technology, including, but not limited to, the website, patient portal, and telemedicine site. • Schedule follow-up appointments as dictated by the provider after each telemedicine visit. • Completing an end-of-day report for the Telemedicine Clinics. • Ensure that patient information is updated at each appointment • Scrub/Prep all assigned charts on scheduled days per current policy. • Assist providers with scribing notes and/or sending orders as needed. • Translate English/Spanish as needed. • Maintain a positive work environment. • Other duties as assigned and requested.
