About the Role As a CAT Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our catastrophe relief efforts, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to those in need. This temporary, remote position offers flexible scheduling, with hours of operation from Sunday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST. You will have the opportunity to request shifts that fit your schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Apply the latest customer service techniques to deliver positive and empathetic support to customers during difficult times Learn and utilize our account management systems to improve the customer experience Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer needs, offering technical expertise and support throughout the claim process Collect and document claim details accurately, adhering to client-specific handling instructions Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently, utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and effectiveness Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have: Your own computer with at least 8GB RAM and a cell phone A Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Home operating system (Chromebooks, macOS, Linux, and other operating systems are not supported) A reliable internet connection, with a minimum speed requirement (Ethernet connection strongly recommended) A private network, as public locations and VPNs are not permitted Basic knowledge of bolthires Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Windows operating systems Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills The ability to type swiftly and accurately (40+ words per minute) Highly reliable, with a strong track record of regular attendance and punctuality Desired Characteristics We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
