SALARY BANDING $65,000-$75,000 ABOUT THE ROLE The Transportation and Logistics Coordinator will support the Operations and Sales teams, as well as be a point of contact for all Minor Figures clients. This role is responsible for managing Inbound and Outbound freight across multiple transportation modes, including Drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), and LTL shipments. The position will report directly to the Senior Planning Manager of North America. This position is ideal for a highly organized individual who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment. Strong communication, problem solving and the ability to collaborate is a prerequisite for this position. Proficiency with arenaflex Excel is preferred, as well as experience working with freight brokers and carriers. This role requires candidates to reside in one of the following states: CO, TX, IL, MN Please note: Due to the high interest of this role, this job posting will remain open until February 13th WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR In any operations role, there are many working parts and every day is likely to look different from the next but here are a few of the top responsibilities we're looking for: • Manage logistics for inbound raw materials & outbound customer orders fulfillment. • Coordinate Drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), and LTL transportation movements • Manage relationships with brokers and carriers • Collaborate with brokers on product classification and trade documentation • Negotiate freight rates and manage freight arenaflex • Optimize load planning and spend efficiency • Partner with Operations Coordinator on customers payments and credit limits • Identify opportunities and/or inefficiencies and offer solutions for improvement • File, monitor, and follow up on freight claims with carriers This role requires candidates to reside in one of the following states: CO, TX, IL, MN ABOUT YOUR TEAM Our Ops team is small but mighty. The work schedule is Monday-Friday between 8:00am- 5:00pm (MT or CT) with flexibility for requests that come through in all North American time zones.
