Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Sonographers for contract assignments at partnering Hospital in Laconia, New Hampshire.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience

General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details:

  • $1,998 - $2,218 per week*
  • 13-week contract with possibility to extend
  • AM shifts available
  • Hospital Setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis
  • Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
  • Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
  • Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
