URGENT CARE/REGENERATIVE MEDICINE NURSE PRACTITIONER

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine urgent care needs.
  • Administer Regenerative Medicine injections such as Trigger Point Injections, PROLO-Therapy, Platelet Rich-Plasma PRP injections, & MSC/Exosome Stem Cell Injections
  • Perform minor procedures including suturing, sterile processing, and catheter care with attention to aseptic technique.
  • Manage acute pain and facilitate recovery through IV infusion therapy, airway management, and other advanced interventions.
  • Utilize EMR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and coding (CPT, ICD-10).
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory experience, sonography, or medical imaging tools; coordinate specimen collection and processing.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to urgent care services while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists in areas such as cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease care, or geriatrics to optimize treatment plans.
  • Engage in case management activities including discharge planning, utilization review, and follow-up care coordination.
  • Support patients across diverse settings including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or post-acute care environments.

URGENT CARE/REGENERATIVE MEDICINE NURSE PRACTITIONER

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current state certification; new grads are encouraged to apply!
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
  • Experience or training in urgent care procedures like IV insertion, venipuncture, tube feeding management or basic life support.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for accurate documentation and billing.
  • Strong critical care experience including Urgent Care or ICU or emergency room exposure is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform sterile techniques such as suturing and catheterization confidently.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (pediatrics), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), or individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork orientation.
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states to do Telemedicine and/or Travel Regenerative Medicine Procedures. MUST HAVE Active Kansas NP family or AGACNP unencumbered licensure to start.
