That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.<br>In this role you will:</p><ul><li><p>BEnsure the practice is ready for opening and closing, managing tills and card machines, alarms, voicemail, and systems.</p></li><li><p>Triage the impact of any emergency appointments, contacting clients to arrange an alternative appointment where necessary.</p></li><li><p>Manage the practice diary to ensure appointment availability is aligned to best practice and available skillset.</p></li><li><p>Ensure appointment slots are available for clients to book online.</p></li><li><p>Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival, and updating records.</p></li><li><p>Process any repeat prescription order requests.</p></li><li><p>Be an advocate of the Medivet Healthcare Plan, and complete relevant sign-up documentation with clients.</p></li><li><p>Ensure online practice information is up to date, with accurate opening hours and current colleagues.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Your Skills and Experience:</b></h2><ul><li><p>Excellent client facing and reception skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience of working as part of a team and building positive working relationships.</p></li><li><p>Client care skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and be diplomatic when needed.</p></li><li><p>Able to prioritise a range of tasks and own workload.</p></li><li><p>Good numeracy skills, with the ability to manage payments and cash up.</p></li><li><p>Experience in using online appointment booking systems.</p></li><li><p>Administration skills and experience</p></li><li><p>Trustworthy and responsible</p></li></ul><p>Desirable:</p><ul><li><p>Previous veterinary receptionist experience.</p></li><li><p>Social media/website content management.</p></li></ul><h2><b>About Us:</b></h2><p>Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
