Job Description — What You’ll Do

Provide practical support and companionship, including:

  • Companionship and emotional reassurance

  • Personal care and daily routines

  • Medication prompts/support (where required)

  • Mobility support and assistance with outings

  • Meal preparation and light household tasks

Saturday afternoon and evening visits are planned and consistent, supporting continuity for clients and reliable hours for you.

Training & Development — No Experience Required

No previous care experience is needed — full training is provided.

You will receive:

  • Structured induction and shadowing

  • Paid mandatory training

  • Ongoing supervision and skills support

  • Option to undertake accredited Dementia Care training

  • Option to undertake accredited End of Life Care training

  • Financial and educational support towards recognised Health & Social Care qualifications

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.60 – £13.60 per hour (higher rates with completed NVQ levels)

This is relationship-led care with minimum 1-hour visits — giving you time to provide safe, person-centred support and build genuine connections.
