With big ambitions, we specialize in the development, construction and operation of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric and dairy digester facilities.</p><p></p><p><b>About the role</b></p><p><span>The Wellfield Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of landfill gas wellfields under his or her oversight. Typically manages a team of wellfield technicians across approximately 3 to 5 sites located in </span><span>OH, IN and OR.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Handles complex issues and serves as an expert in wellfield management, overseeing technicians at multiple facilities.<span>  </span>Generally, makes decisions without consulting higher-level employees, but discusses unusual or complex situations with management.<span>  </span></span><span>Takes direction from the supervising Wellfield managers and directors.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Job Duties and Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li>Responsible for execution of all wellfield technician duties across assigned sites, primarily through delegation, but via direct performance of work when needed.</li><li>Trains and mentor’s wellfield technicians across assigned sites.</li><li>Monitors wellfield performance to ensure adherence to company and industry standards and compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines  </li><li>Plans and schedules maintenance of wellfield equipment.  </li><li>Develops work schedules, assignments, and rotations for employees. </li><li>Participates in the employee hiring process.</li><li>Ensures employees are properly trained for their respective positions.</li><li>Reviews, approves, and submits employee timesheets and expense reports. </li><li>Provides employees with honest and timely feedback and coaching on performance. </li><li>Conducts annual performance reviews with employees. </li><li>Evaluates operations, maintenance, and performance of the wellfields. </li><li>Ensures that the wellfield preventive maintenance program is up to date, and that all documentation and records are filed (electronically or hard copied) appropriately.</li><li>Ensures the daily transmittal of all wellfield data, flare data, and associated operating reports and spreadsheets.</li><li>Maintains all assigned operating logs in proper order, including flare logs, inspection logs, SSM forms, etc.</li><li>Assists with the planning, implementing, and scheduling of all maintenance, training, wellfield expansions and special projects.</li><li>Works with plant personnel as needed to ensure that daily production reports, flow meter data, greenhouse gas data, sales meter data and Start-up-Shut down Malfunction (SSM) reports are up to date and delivered (daily/weekly/monthly) to the appropriate individuals/agencies as requested.</li><li>Oversees operation of the assigned wellfields in the most efficient and productive manner to maintain compliance with the site-specific Title V Operating Permit, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and prescribed safety and environmental standards.</li><li>Performs equipment testing and develops action plans to maximize performance and implements improvements. </li><li>Plans and executes special projects to improve wellfield collection efficiency. </li><li>Determines service priorities and schedules projects and personnel accordingly. </li><li>Communicates and coordinates projects with plant and landfill personnel.</li><li>Maintains good relations with plant and landfill personnel.</li><li>Orders/purchases materials and supplies as required.</li><li>Ensures projects comply with government rules, regulations, the site-specific Title V Permit and NSPS guidelines.</li><li>Responds to callouts in a timely manner and works overtime as required.</li><li>Ensures maintenance and upkeep of facility all-terrain vehicles and trucks.</li><li>Ensures all analytical equipment calibrations and recordkeeping are current.</li><li>Has knowledge of all gas collection and control equipment.</li><li>Performs analytical tests and documentation as required, for example: Calibration of data collection and gas analysis instruments.</li><li>Travels regionally as needed to support assigned sites and wellfield technicians.
